The Problem
Playground Facility
In 2003 a newly formed group Friends of Knowle Park set about fundraising to upgrade existing facilities in the Park. Through their initiative, the village saw the installation of the Playground equipment we have today.
The Playground has served the community well but is now requiring investment to renovate and repair existing equipment. Also there is a need to introduce new equipment to further expand the suitable age range.
Furthermore the village has seen growth since 2003 with three housing developments putting additional pressure on community facilities.
Tired Equipment
Existing equipment and surfaces need an upgrade to address wear and tear
Limited Age range
The current playground meets the needs of 2 to 10 year old Children
Expanding Village
The Village is growing and the Park facilities need to grow to meet demand
