Meet the team
The project team has two elements; Delivery and Governance.
Alistair Innes is providing the day to day management of the project. Leighton Jones is heading up Project Governance on behalf of Knowle Society who are providing Project oversight in the form of governance and financial management.
Knowle Society is a registered Charity with proven track record of running community Projects within Knowle and local area
The team is made up of individuals with diverse experience and expertise to make a strong motivated project team.

Project Delivery of Manufacturing / Construction Projects and Business Improvement Projects
Project Motivation:
I want to see Knowle Park enhanced with amazing facilities for the community to enjoy. I have two young children who love to visit parks where there are great playgrounds. I want our village to have wonderful facilities too.
Charlotte Richmond
Assistant Project Manager
Occupation:
Stay at Home Mom, Previously a Hotel Sales Manager
Relevant Experience:
Work within given budgets, Work towards set targets and goals, Analysing Data to improve standards
Project Motivation:
Having been born and raised in Knowle and now bringing up my own 2 children in this fantastic village, I want a park that the residents can be proud of. Knowle is a dynamic and progressive village and it would be great if the park reflected this.
Leighton Jones
Project Leadership – Knowle Society
Occupation:
Retired Forensic Scientist
Relevant Experience:
Led the Knowle Society’s successful project to register two Village Greens which was supported by many residents through the provision of funding and evidence to support the legal case
Project Motivation:
Our grandsons, now aged 7 & 10, have made great use of the existing facilities in the past, but have become bored with the lack of equipment to stretch their abilities.
Dave Pinwell
Deputy Chairman – Knowle Society

Relevant Experience:
Fundraising for and delivery / Management / Governance of Charity Projects
Project Motivation:
I am passionate about keeping Knowle a great place to live, with good quality facilities and services, things to do and places to go, for all residents of all ages.
David Watson
Treasurer – Knowle Society
Occupation: Retired, General Practitioner
Relevant Experience: Business accounting. Website design
Project Motivation: As a daily user of the park, I would be delighted to see a children's playground that would be a superb showpiece that Knowle can be proud of.
Lilla Baker
Trustee Director – Knowle Society
Occupation:
Retired, RGN and Manager A/E (Heartland) Trustee director and Community Services Chairman for The Knowle Society, Trustee Director Jobs close residential home
Relevant Experience:
Managing large projects in Care settings, Community activist working with local councils and organising volunteering activities
Project Motivation:
The Playground area is sorely in need of improvement and updating. I am pleased to be involved in a project that will provide activities and fun which will meet the needs of local parents and grand Parents with young children.
Angela Bird
Trustee Director – Knowle Society

Involved in the design of Dickens Heath School selecting play equipment to suit physical and mental capabilities
Project Motivation:
Wanting to see good play facilities in Knowle to encourage children to play outside which will help to prevent obesity as well as improving physical, mental and social skills
